MPGU Dormitories

All international full-time students can live in one of MPGU dormitories. The University has 7 modern dormitories. Three of them are located next to the MPGU Humanities building (88 Prospect Vernadskogo) and not far from other institutions of higher education (Moscow Technological University, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and others).

All dormitories are equipped with everything needed. Students live in apartments. Each apartment consists of 2 rooms. Students can be accomodated in a room with 2 or 3 beds. There are a bathroom and a refrigerator (optional) in every apartment. A shared kitchen can be  either in the apartment or on the floor. There are also laundry rooms in the dormitories.

The dormitory fee is determined by MPGU administration. Payment depends on the type of the dormitory.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all dormitories.

Security supervises the dormitories.

Smoking and alcohol are prohibited.

Relatives and guests are allowed to stay in the dormitories from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Admission for International Students 2025 – Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU)

Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU) will accept international applicants in 2025 for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs. As one of the oldest and most respected universities in Russia, MPGU offers a wide variety of programs for students from around the world.

Application Steps for International Students

Select your preferred program from MPGU’s official list for foreign citizens and stateless persons. Programs are available in Russian and English in fields such as education, humanities, arts, and natural sciences.

2. Check Tuition Fees

Review the annual tuition fees for your chosen study level.

Note: Citizens of EAEU countries, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia pay the same tuition as Russian citizens in their first year.

3. Prepare Your Documents

You will need to provide scanned copies of:

• Passport photo page
• Official notarized Russian translation of passport
• Education certificate with legalization (Apostille) and Russian notarized translation
• 3×4 photo

For arts, music, or doctoral programs, additional materials such as a portfolio, video, essay, or CV are also required.

4. Submit Your Application

6. Entrance Exams & Final Enrollment
